Beautiful Summer Wedding

Recently I sold a cute vintage telephone table which I had painted and recovered the seat in a pretty sage and pink floral oilcloth. My lovely customer, Jo, told me she was getting married at picturesque Omapere and was having a vintage styled wedding. She has sent me some beautiful photos of her fabulous day and I thank her for allowing me to share with you. I wish her all the very best for a wonderful happy marriage.

It isn't the first time my items have been purchased to use as props for special events and it got me to thinking that I should branch into furniture hire, namely vintage and shabby chic pieces for events and weddings. Often when I have finished upcycling an item, I find it very hard to part with it, so this would be a perfect solution. I get to see my pieces used and enjoyed without actually parting with them. So over the next few weeks I will photograph some pieces that I will now be keeping and that will be available for hire.

I will have a selection of tables, chairs, sideboards, vases, candles, mirrors, lamps and much more.

Also, of course, as an interior designer, I would be more than happy to assist in styling or coordinating an event or wedding should you have something special coming up!
